Tanzanie - En famille
Bien Cordialement, Delphine Hunaut What a nice trip! First, the Chem-Chem where we stayed for 2 nights. We loved the place, in the middle of nowhere, in the midst of nature. The open-air dinners, under the giant Acacia, the 3 giraffes that we can see in the distance and which are approaching us progressively during the dinner, to stop at a hundred meters! Diks-diks just in front of the tent for the delight of the children, buffaloes and... THE Lake, pink, covered with flamingos, in front of which we will have breakfast and admire the sunrise but also take the aperitif, at the corner of the fire, to admire the sunset. These images will accompany us for a long time! At Chem-Chem, we also loved the people. What a service, what a kindness ! Salum first, our guide, who immediately hooked up with our teens and with whom we went in search of Alex, Chris or even Paul, the elephants accustomed to the reserve, but also the best friends of our boys ! Shanon also, to whom we asked to kindly contact our hotel of the first night because our daughter had forgotten her "doudous" (the bears she sleeps with since she was born). And how surprised Coline was to find them back on our descent from the plane to Zanzibar!!! And then it was Matthew's turn to accompany us. After Tarangire which was full of elephants, babouins and giraffes, the Manyara National Park seemed a little dull. On the other hand, we were amazed at the spectacle of the Ngorongoro Crater, the view from our hotel, the Ngorongoro Crater Lodge, was incredible. And the hotel itself was also so unlikely, so different from what we knew. We will remember it!. A very friendly welcome, a bath with roses and rose petals, a group of local singers during dinner, dozens of buffaloes coming out of the restaurant at night… all this gave us the feeling of living a unique moment. The next day Matthew was waiting for us to discover the animals in the crater. On the program, beautiful landscapes, all sorts of animals, we loved it!
